Katell Mevel (Post-doc)

Katell Mevel graduated in 2010 from Caen University. Her thesis dealt with multimodal brain imaging in early Alzheimer ’s disease, which she completed with one year of post-doctoral research on resting-state connectivity in normal aging (U1077; Supervisor: Dr. Gaël Chételat). From May 2011 to October 2013, she worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Karolinska Institutet Center for Neurodevelopmental disorders (KIND; Supervisors: Prs. Sven Bölte & Peter Fransson). During those two years, her works focused on the brain connectome among pediatric twin populations presenting with neurodevelopmental disorders, e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, intellectual disability, etc. As a coordinator for the APEX project, Katell MEVEL currently aims at exploring the connectivity patterns underpinning executive control in children and adolescents.
