Aikaterini obtained a BSc in Psychology (University of Essex, UK) and a Master of Research in Cognitive Neuropsychology (Free University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands). After completing a research internship at LaPsyDÉ, she started in 2020 her PhD under the supervision of Wim De Neys and Michal Bialek (University of Wroclaw, Poland). The aim of her PhD is to better understand the interaction between intuitive and deliberate reasoning in the various fields in which dual process theories are applied (e.g. probabilistic or economic reasoning). In her studies she uses several paradigms, but primarily the conflict detection and the two-response paradigms.
