Chiara Andreola

Ph.D student

University of Paris

After obtaining a Bachelor degree in Psychological Sciences and a Master Degree in Cognitive Neurosciences at University Vita – Salute San Raffaele (Milan, Italy), Chiara worked as a post-lauream intern and then as research assistant at the Child Psychopathology Unit (Scientific Institute Eugenio Medea, Lecco, Italy), focusing on the cognitive processes related to reading acquisition and its failure (developmental dyslexia), with a particular interest in visuo-attentional processes.
In 2019 Chiara started her PhD at LaPsyDÉ laboratory under the supervision of Pr. Grégoire Borst and the co-supervision of Irene Altarelli. Her PhD project focuses on the link between executive functions and reading and aims at evaluating a new type of computerized training in school-aged children.
