After completing a master’s degree in Psychology of Education and Cognitive Development of Children and Adolescents at Université Paris Cité, Ahoo joined LaPsyDE to begin her PhD under the supervision of Mathieu Cassotti and Émilie Salvia. Her research focuses on the influence of conspiracy theories on adolescents, particularly in relation to their engagement with climate change issues. She is especially interested in understanding the psychological mechanisms that make some individuals more likely to believe in conspiracy theories. Her work also aims to develop interventions that improve adolescents’ critical thinking skills, helping them better resist adhering to conspiracy theories.
