Paris Cité University
After obtaining a Master's degree in Neuroscience and Education at Columbia University (New York) in 2023, Belen joined LaPsyDÉ to carry out a PhD under the supervision of Pr. Arnaud Cachia and co-supervised by Dr. Irène Altarelli.
Her thesis is part of the Myelex project ('Implications of myelin in executive control in adolescence and adulthood'). This project is based on the recent development of non-invasive microstructural MRI methods, providing new sensitive and specific myelin markers that open up new perspectives for clarifying the involvement of myelin plasticity in cognitive development.
