Paris Cité University
CNRS

After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (University Paris Nanterre), Elora completed a Master’s in Cognitive and Clinical Neuropsychology (University of Strasbourg), during which she joined LaPsyDÉ for an internship supervised by Prof. Grégoire Borst to study the cognitive mechanisms involved in fraction processing and mathematical reasoning.
In October 2021, she started her PhD under the co-supervision of Irene Altarelli and Teresa Iuculano. Her project aims at characterizing the cognitive profile of children struggling with reading and/or math difficulties. More specifically, she is interested in the way executive functions and socio-economic status influence reading and math skills, in order to develop remediation programs targeting especially children from low socio-economic backgrounds.
