After obtaining a Master’s degree in Psychology of cognitive and social development of children and adolescents (Paris Cité University) in 2022, Léa joined the LaPsyDÉ as a PhD student, under the supervision of Dr. Arnaud Viarouge. During her Master's degree, she became interested in the development of mathematical cognition. In line with her Master's research works, her thesis project focuses on factors influencing the ability to process numerical information, and their role in the development of academic arithmetic skills in preschool children.
