Mathieu Cassotti

Ph.D, HDR

Full professor

Paris Cité University and IUF

Mathieu is a full Professor of developmental psychology and he is a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. He is also the head of the DEVMaster at Université Paris Cité. He obtained his PhD in Psychology in 2010 (Paris Descartes University). He was a postdoctoral fellow at Mines ParisTech from 2010 to 2011 before being hired as an associate Professor at Paris Descartes university in 2011. His project aim at investigating the role of executive processes and of the socio-emotional context in the development of decision-making and creativity. More specifically, his research seek to provide a better understanding of how children, adolescents and adults make decisions in uncertain situations and how they generate new solutions to a problem in unknown environments.
