Paul Nibaudeau
2025/09-
Ph. D student
Paris Cité University, Hamelin Group
Graduated with a master’s degree in developmental cognitive and social psychology of children and adolescents (Institute of Psychology, Université Paris Cité), Paul joined LaPsyDÉ and GIP Cyceron imaging platform in Caen to start a CIFRE-thesis under the supervision of Prof. Nicolas Poirel. His doctoral project, funded by Hamelin Group France, in collaboration with Oxford Education Department, aims to study how graphical variations in children’s note-taking materials influence cognitive and visuo-attentional abilities, as well as graphomotor learning of handwriting, particularly in children with dysgraphia. Paul is also interested in the impact of screens and digital technology on cognitive functioning, from childhood to adulthood: he studies the differences in attentional and memory processes involved in working on screens and on paper, in order to better understand and then adapt the use of digital technology in therapeutic and educational fields.
