Zoe Purcell is a post-doctoral fellow at LaPsyDÉ supported by an Access ERC award (Agence Nationale de la Recherche). She earned her PhD in cognitive psychology at Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia) examining the relationships between confidence, expertise, and reasoning. Afterwards, she held a post-doctoral position at the University of Toulouse (France) studying the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence. Currently, work focuses on the complex relationships between reasoning and various contemporary global issues such as the rise of AI, climate change, and gender inequality.
