Felipe Pegado

Felipe Pegado est maître de conférences en psychologie du développement et neurosciences cognitives à l'Université Paris Cité. Il est titulaire d'un diplôme de médecine et d'une double spécialisation en psychiatrie adulte et infanto-juvénile, acquise respectivement à Rio de Janeiro et à Paris. Il a obtenu son doctorat en neurosciences cognitives en étudiant les changements cognitifs et cérébraux liés à l'alphabétisation sous la supervision de Stanislas Dehaene. Felipe a ensuite été formé en techniques avancées en neuroimagerie cérébrale telles que la MVPA (multivoxel pattern analysis) par Hans Op de Beeck en Belgique. Il est ensuite retourné en France pour étudier le traitement parallèle des mots chez les bons lecteurs, sous la supervision de Jonathan Grainger. Puis, il a poursuivi ses recherches à AMPIRIC (Aix-Marseille – Pôle d’Innovation, de Recherche, d’Enseignement pour l’Éducation), étudiant des stratégies d’apprentissage multimodales pour l’alphabétisation, avant de rejoindre le LaPsyDÉ.
Felipe utilise pour ses recherches une variété de méthodes telles que l'électroencéphalographie (EEG), l’imagerie par résonance magnétique fonctionnelle (IRMf) et les mesures comportementales. Il tente également de lier la recherche en neurosciences cognitives et l'apprentissage réel à l'école, en utilisant des essais contrôlés randomisés.
